This summer, Morton Memorial Library, Starr Library, Red Hook Public Library, Tivoli Free Library, and Clinton Community Library are teaming up to bring you a region-wide reading adventure!

Inspired by the theme “Unearth a Story,” this year’s program is a paleontology themed scavenger hunt challenge for all ages, combining reading, exploration, and community discovery.

Visit libraries, explore local businesses, attend events, and complete fun challenges to earn points and prizes!

  • Earn 1 sticker for every challenge you complete on the Fossil Record. Each sticker is worth 5 fossil points. Complete all the challenges to unearth the fossil bonus and earn 100 bonus points.
  • 50 points = Earn a Summer Reading Prize
  • 100 points = Be entered to win the Summer Reading Grand Prize
  • Summer Reading prizes should be picked up at your home library. Winners will be announced at a Field Day in Thompson-Mazzarella Park on August 14
