A Message from Morton

Morton is thrilled to be partnering with the Red Hook, Tivoli, and Rhinebeck libraries to offer a Community Read program “Conversations about Race” Join your neighbors in a moderated community conversation about race. Reserve a copy of one of the recommended titles at your library; our discussion will be informed in part by what you choose to read, as well as your lived experience.  The titles are: Caste, When They Call You a Terrorist, Punching the Air, Kindred, and The Vanishing Half.  The discussion will be held via Zoom on October 26th which gives you time to read 1 or more of the books.

We are looking for participants for our annual Homage to the Fiber Artists.  Please let us know if you would be interested.

According to the CDC, Dutchess County is now in the HIGH level of community transmission.

At this time we are requiring masks inside the library for all.  We are still offering curbside assistance if you prefer.
