A Message from Morton

So happy to note that we have had several new signups during National Library Card Month – many of you have been supporters and attendees of events and now you see how much more the library can offer.  We are also going to offer our annual Fiber Arts Show, though in a different guise.  We will be going virtual this October but are putting out the call for images of your amazing textile work. Please contact the library if you would like to be included.

We are also hoping to enlist many of you in our 2 Great Give Back events!  From October 1 – October 17, we will be collecting food to help support our local food pantries and to compete with our fellow Mid-Hudson libraries for a friendly competition.  On October 17, in conjunction with Riverkeeper Sweep, Backyard to Table, and the Rhinebeck Grange we will be doing a cleanup and planting at the Rhinecliff Dock – more info to follow.

Remember, not only can you check out library items, you can also contact us to help with your printing/copying jobs.  We also have our socially distanced porch rocking chairs ready for you to enjoy, either with a book or using our WiFi.

While you are here, feel free to pick up a garbage bag to help keep Rhinecliff clean.

It is so important to fill out the census – the date has now been changed and must now be filled out by September 30.

November 3 is fast approaching. If you aren’t registered to vote, you can pick up forms at the library!! September 22 is National Voter Registration Day, but we are not limiting you to only register on that specific day.

We are here for you, let us know if we can do more!  Now that school has started, Lawrence is happy to offer online tutoring help.

Our curbside hours are:

Tuesday & Thursday: 10:00 – 2:00

Wednesday & Friday: 2:00 – 6:00

We are always available online!!
