A Message from Morton

Happy almost Thanksgiving and, gulp, winter weather!

An early heads up, we post on our website, Facebook, Instagram, and Cancellations.com, if we have to cancel an event because of inclement weather.

We have so many events this weekend so please try to find time in your busy schedule to stop by.
Just have to give a little extra shout-out to Saturday’s (click here to see the full program) all day extravaganza of new music curated by Rocco Jerry. This is free, open to the public and gives you the opportunity to see so many new musicians:

11 AM – 12:30 Shawn Lawson and The Progression Ensemble
1 – 2 Ivan Filipchyk – “Images of the Passing Time”
2:15 – 3:15 David Rothenberg’s “One Day We’ll Know Why Whales Sing”
4 – 5 Joshua Thomas: Saxophone and Electronics
5 – 5:30 Lecture by Ivan Filipchyk: “Music of Anatoly Kusyakov”
5:45-6:45 Bassless Trio “Nursery Rhymes and Their Sordid Histories”
7:30 – 8:30 Sandra Sprecher “The Power of Nature”

You have a bit longer to give us your thoughts on Morton by filling out our survey – it’s easy and only takes a few minutes!
