Morton Roars – 1920’s Fundraising Gala Sneak Peek

Dear Morton Library Supporter,

On April 30, 2016, Morton Memorial Library and Community House will
hold its annual Morton Day Fundraiser.  This year’s event, “Morton
Roars: Boas and Bow Ties,” in the style of the Roaring Twenties, will
feature the Big Blue Big Band, a 17-piece swing ensemble, and Abby
Saxon’s Rhinebeck Dance Group.  As always, food and spirits will be
available. This annual event raises funds to support various library
programs and services.

Last year, a number of local businesses and families supported Morton
as event sponsors. Four levels of tax-deductible sponsorship are
available:
• Hotsy Totsy –   $150 – $399
• Cat’s Meow   –   $400 – $699
• The Berries   –   $700 – $999
• Bees Knees   –   $1000 and up

Sponsors receive two tickets for “Morton Roars,” sponsorship
recognition at the event and promotional potential for their business
or service by having the option to place printed materials or a
free-standing banner or placard at the admission table.

Since its founding in 1908, Morton has served our community with its
library collection, community meeting room, community theater,
after-school and children’s programs, music and movie nights, art
shows, book clubs, recreational activities, educational workshops,
programs for seniors, and more.  Last year, over 10,000 visitors came
to the library for some 300 events.

We sincerely hope you’ll become a sponsor once again for this
important fundraising event. To do so, you may write a check to
Morton Memorial Library and Community House, P.O. Box 157, 82 Kelly
St., Rhinecliff, NY 12574-0157, with the check memo stating your
level of sponsorship. Alternatively, you may click on the Donate tab
